LifeCell Reviews | Does this All In One Anti-aging Treatment Work?

I first heard about the LifeCell All In One Anti-Aging Treatment through a friend of mine.

We had gotten to talking about skincare (she always seems to have such beautiful, clear skin!) and I asked her what her daily skincare routine was. It turns out that when it comes to an anti-aging treatment, LifeCell was the one she had been using regularly for the past year. With my curiosity piqued, after our conversation, I began scouring the web for LifeCell reviews just to see what this product was all about.

In truth I had heard about this product before, but had never really considered it. It had been featured on TV, was endorsed by a few celebrities, and generally had the appearance of being one of those overly-hyped, not so effective “miracle” products.

However, since I ultimately decided to buy LifeCell and now use it regularly, I figured it would be useful to put together a detailed LifeCell review to help anyone else out there make an informed decision about this product.

In this article, I’m going to discuss how LifeCell works, what ingredients it contains, what other LifeCell reviews have to say, and provide some pros and cons with using this product. At the end of the article, I’ll compare different places to buy this anti-aging treatment (include one place where you can try it for free) if you think it’s something that will work for you.

What is the LifeCell All In One Anti-Aging Treatment?

Now as many of my readers will note, I do a very detailed research process prior to buying a new product for my face. I simply don’t trust what most companies out there advertise.

And when it comes to putting something on my face, I want to be extra sure I’m not applying something potentially harmful or (even worse) toxic. So let’s take a closer look at what LifeCell is supposed to do, and then compare it with what it actually does.

LifeCell is advertised as an “all-in-one anti-aging treatment” that is supposed to immediately reduce the signs of wrinkles and help improve skin elasticity over time. After several months of using LifeCell, you are supposed to notice a big difference in how your skin looks and feels, and some of your wrinkles, crows-feet, age spots, bags under eyes, and fine lines may even vanish entirely. As an anti-aging product, LifeCell is purported to make your face look “years younger”, restore radiance, and improve your complexion.

I don’t know about you, but that sounds like a pretty tall order for one skincare cream!

Of course I had to delve into the list of ingredients to see if there may be some merit to some of these claims.

What Ingredients are in LifeCell?

According to the label, LifeCell contains the following ingredients:

  • Dermaxyl:
  • Matrixyl 3000
  • D3PA
  • Ubiquinone
  • Deanol
  • Acetyl Hexapeptide-3
  • Retinol (Vitamin A)
  • Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C)

I did some fairly in-depth research into each of these ingredients and it seems that many of them are actually backed by some fairly solid science. In general, these ingredients can be broken down into two categories: skin structure and skin moisture retention/appearance.

Skin Moisture Retention and Appearance

Dermaxyl, Hyaluronic Acid, DMAE, and Retinol (Vitamin A) are all products that help the skin retain moisture and appear younger. In particular, most dermatologists will say that Vitamin A is a critical ingredient in rejuvenating skin cells and fighting wrinkles. On the positive side, it seems that LifeCell provides an ample amount of this vitamin to smooth out fine lines and restore a more youthful appearance. It also contain micro-light reflecting particles that are intended to reduce the appearance of wrinkles right away.

Skin Structure

Matrixyl 3000, Ubiquinone, Deanol, and Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C) are generally geared towards improving your skin structure over time. This particular cocktail of ingredients is aimed at boosting your body’s ability to produce collagen- and if you’ve done much research into what causes wrinkles to begin with, a reduction in collagen production is one of the biggest culprits.

Collagen is a protein found in your body that provides skin its elasticity. However, over time, the amount of collagen your body produces decreases, which means your skin will gradually become less firm and lead to (you guessed it), wrinkles. By boosting your skin’s collagen levels you can help restore a more youthful appearance and decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

My Personal LifeCell Results

It’s all well and good to have an impressive list of anti-aging ingredients (and perhaps a few celebrity endorsements) – but does the LifeCell Anti-Aging Treatment actually work? Well, not long after talking to my friend about LifeCell, I decided to take the company up on its trial offer (this trial offer is still available by the way, and I have included a link to it at the bottom of this review for anyone interested!).

What were my results?

The first night I washed and dried my face as usual. And then I took a small amount of the LifeCell cream in my fingertips and applied it all over my face as instructed.

My initial impression was that this product did not have that oily feel of other anti-aging creams out there – which is a good sign. After a few minutes I came back to the mirror to check on the results and was actually pleasantly surprised at what I saw.

I noticed that some of the lines around my mouth were slightly less visible and that my skin felt much firmer. A few of my wrinkles even seemed to almost disappear. It was nothing too extreme (i.e. not a miracle) but it was an initial sign that this product had some short-term de-wrinkling properties.

Long-term Results

I continued using this product as instructed twice per day for a couple of weeks, and noticed some slight improvements to the appearance of my skin. I discussed my initial results with my friend and she instructed me to keep up with the regiment. After all, LifeCell was geared towards being a more long-term anti-aging solution.

I’m glad I kept up with using this product as eventually towards the end of the first month of using it, I began to notice a big improvement in my skin! I think because the changes had been so gradual, I didn’t noticed how much of a difference LifeCell had made over time.

The real proof was when I looked at an old photo of myself and compared it to how I looked now, I noticed a very substantial reduction in the appearance of wrinkles (some small ones even disappeared completely). The big bags I used to get under my eyes had become drastically reduced and the overall complexion of my face was much better. My skin was more firm, more beautiful looking, and I felt great!

A friend of mine who did before and after photos!

Ever since then, I have incorporated LifeCell into my regular skincare regime. My face looks several years younger, and I have to admit, it is nice getting compliments on my skin again 🙂

So overall, I would say that LifeCell has worked wonders in terms of restoring a more youthful appearance to my face. It had some very small short-term benefits, but the real pay-off was through regular use over a course of several weeks.

What are Others Saying About LifeCell?

In the interests of being as comprehensive as possible, I did some digging around for other LifeCell reviews. In general, it seems that people who kept up with the regiment for a few weeks and used this product regularly, noted positive results.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Offers some immediate wrinkle reduction and anti-aging effects after the first application.
  • Contains a good mix of ingredients that are linked to boosting collagen production and improving skin elasticity over time.
  • Incorporates key moisturizing agents and skin toning ingredients to gradually restore a more youthful appearance to your face.
  • Highly effective long-term solution to reversing the aging process and restoring a younger looking face.
  • A much cheaper alternative to plastic surgery, botox, or laser treatments.

Cons

  • While still very effective, LifeCell is not a “miracle” anti-aging treatment like some advertisements seem to suggest.
  • Slightly higher price tag than other skincare products.
  • May take a few weeks for the long-term effects to kick it.

Conclusion: How to Determine if LifeCell is Right For You

It is important to note that LifeCell is not necessarily the ideal skincare cream for everyone. If you’re looking for a miracle product that works almost instantly for the price of a $10 or $20 moisturizer than this product is not for you.

This product is for people who are looking for a great anti-aging treatment that significantly reduces the signs of aging and restores your face to a more youthful appearance. This is a long-term solution to eradicating the appearance of wrinkles, removing fine lines, and restoring a healthier, younger looking face.

As many of the LifeCell reviews show (mine included) you have to be willing to invest the time into allowing this product to work properly for a few weeks. In the interim you will likely see some short-term improvements to your face. But if you apply this product regularly for a few weeks you may be amazed at the results you get.

The price tag of about $150 for a two month supply may dissuade people. But for the price of a $2.50 cup of coffee (or latte) per day, you can have a much cheaper alternative to expensive botox or other cosmetic treatments. And best of all, this product has actually worked for me, and is something I’m thankful I found. However, the anti-aging product you decide to go with for your face is entirely your decision, and something you have to determine after weighing what’s best for you.

Is there a Trial Offer Available for LifeCell?

I’m happy to report that there is indeed still a trial offer available for this product. I have been unable to figure out from the company exactly how much longer it will be offered for, but if you’re on the fence about whether to get this product, I highly recommend you check it out.

You’ll be able to try out LifeCell for a full 30 days for free, and if you don’t like it, you can return it. I’m sure within the 30 days you’ll begin to start seeing a huge difference like me, but if not, you can always return it risk-free.
